Hello Everybody!
The last clicks of the year!!

My last work in 2007 comes inside the book published by the journalist Tania Menai, who lives and works in New York. The images that are complementing the amazing text and also give a face to the caracthers, are the result of a very interesting partneship that happened in the years that I lived, studied and worked in the USA.

The book (in Portuguese): "Nova York - Do Oiapoque ao Chui - Relatos de brasileiros na cidade que nunca dorme", was published this December by Casa da Palavra and was very well received by the Brazilian book rewiews and critics.

For who wants to give a close look at caracthers and its histories, enjoy the superb writing and check the portraits that I did of these very interesting group of Brazilian people, just check the book's web site (you cannot loose the section where new people can add its own histories online) or go directly to the publishers's web site at Casa da Palavra.

Hello everybody!!

We are back!!

After a long period travelling and many jobs realized in different areas, a complete reformulation of the web site is being prepared. New lay out, new content and new images will be here soon.

I will be out on assingment from April 17th til May 10th guiding the Professor and Landscape Photographer Thomas Joshua Cooper in the Brazilian phase of his amazing project: The World's Edge - The Atlantic Basin Project. We will be visiting the most important points and beaches of the Brazilian Coast.

The project, which is considered his most ambitious idea, begun in 1990 as an epic endeavour to map the extremities of the land and islands that surround the entire Atlantic Ocean.

Some special details: Prof. Cooper works with a nineteenth century AGFA wooden field camera, using black and negatives and only one image is produced of each single special spot in the journey.

Hello everybody!! Vacation is over!!

New year, new life, everything is boiling with all the new projects already happening in 2006!!

A brand new bureau developing photography and creation is borning in Bonito/MS. The Hot Spot Brasil is already working and counts with a jam of professionals from different areas: photography, ecotourism, environment, graphic arts and design. For now it is ok. Hello everybody!

After a lot of work, lots of trips and many images this year is touching its end. At this moment I am at my parents home (Ribeirao Preto - Sao Paulo - Brazil), recovering myself after a broken foot and a small surgery. I hope to be back, with new batteries, in January 2006.

Talking about 2006, I wish to everyone a very good Christmas and a New Year replete of amazing things, with health, a lot of peace and much more success!!
